Partners in Enterprise with Living (dlc)

The Partners in Enterprise Scheme has been developed in collaboration with suppliers of mobility equipment and other products.  Our suppliers lists will indicate those retailers in the old Avon area who are supporting us financially and in other ways. They have formed a Consortium of Suppliers which will work together and with us to help ensure the best service to our users and their customers.  The group will meet on a regular basis and one of their number will represent them on the Board of Directors. The criteria for membership is currently as follows. Suppliers comply within reason to these:

Give financial support to Living (dlc)  through membership of the scheme. Have a wide range of products or access to them. Have a range of alternative products available to customers or access to them. Trained and knowledgeable staff who understand disabled peoples issues and about equality and customer care. Competitive prices. A balanced approach to selling.  Living (dlc) itself strives to be impartial to ensure its service users get the product they need. A relaxed environment with no hard sell. Accessible premises or a willingness to use Living (dlc) premises if need be. Car parking for customers.

We will work together in other areas such as training for our staff and for suppliers staff, open days, use of the showroom, use of our OTs and other joint initiatives.
